  1. Is +Lamb a registered charity?
    1. Positive Lamb Foundation is a registered charity in Canada  (#788784692RR0001)
    2. Positive Lamb Foundation UK is a registered charity in England and Wales (#1207884)
  1. How much of my donation goes to the children?
    1. We aim to bring the most amount of financial aid to children living with HIV in India as possible. Our operating target is that 70% of your donation goes directly to our projects, with 30% used for operating expenses. 
  1. Why don’t you show the children and families supported?
    1. HIV is highly stigmatized in all facets of Indian society, therefore we choose to respect the anonymity of our beneficiaries. We would rather find creative ways of connecting our donor to the children and people impacted and not place any decision on them which may feel impacts their eligibility to receive support from us and our partners. 
  1. Is my donation tax deductible?
    1. If you are a tax payer in Canada donating in $CAD or a taxpayer in England or Wales donating in £GBP then your donation is tax-deductible
  1. Is my donation eligible for Gift Aid?
    1. Yes, if you are a UK taxpayer donating in £GBP your donation is eligible for Gift Aid. With the understanding that if the Gift Aid claimed on this and other donations you make this tax year is more than the tax you pay on your income and capital gains it will be your responsibility to pay the difference to HMRC.
  1. Is my donation refundable?
    1. No, we do not issue refunds for donations. Please email sayhello@positivelamb.com if you have any questions.

  1. How will I receive a tax receipt for my donation?
    1. Canada: We issue our Canadian tax receipts in February the following year of your donation which you will receive via email 
    2. UK: We issue our UK tax receipts in April the following year of your donation, which you receive email
  1. How do I pause or cancel my monthly donation?
    1. Email us at sayhello@positivelamb.com to make any changes to your regular giving donation
  1. How can I change my email preferences?
    1. Email us if you wish to change your preferences or aren’t receiving emails from us 
    2. If you wish to unsubscribe from all emails simply click the unsubscribe button at the bottom of any email communication from Positive Lamb
